Re: [N8VEM: 14866] Re: progress report on subversion server repair

Hi Guys,

No important new stuff from me at the moment.  Looking forward to it getting online again.

Regards

David

Wayne,

My first priority will be to restore the subversion backup.

I don't have any modified source to integrate. All my work on the video has been standalone
so far.

We should find out if David has any stuff that needs to be folded in.

Then I think you should overlay your current tree and do a checkpoint release.

I will proceed from there using your committed tree.

Thoughts?

This is great news Douglas.  I appreciate your work on this (and Bill as well).

Since your Subversion server will be back online soon, I see no reason to pursue any alternative source control options.  In fact, my preference is that all N8VEM community source control stay as centralized as possible to allow people to find things as easily as possible.  I look forward to your server coming back, but realize there is a lot of work left that may take some time.

I will send a small donation to the cause in the morning.

Thanks!

Wayne
