Hi Michael!
Do you think either of these would work?

The reason I am asking is that I am thinking about an ECB to S-100 bus
bridge design that's been hanging around in my thoughts for a long time.
There is a TRS-80 model 1 to S-100 bus bridge circuit which can be readily
adapted to ECB. I have posted some initial concept schematics on the wiki.
If anyone has suggestions on how to solve the S-100 power supply problem the
prospect of a mini ECB to S-100 bus bridge becomes a lot more feasible.
You don't need real 18V or -18V rails. 15V or slightly higher would be just
find for most 7812 style SCRs to work. However, the 7805 SCRs are going to
need ~7V to regulate and I don't know if these PS output voltage can be
boosted up to compensate.
It is too bad they don't make 8/16/-16 volt switching power supply. :-/
Thanks and have a nice day!
