I have posted my new utility, called N8VIDTST to the wiki in the N8-2312 
folder.

This utility is meant only to run on an N8 that has a TMS9918 graphics 
processor
installed.

It displays for pages of information in text mode (24x40 monochrome).

The information consists of tabular information on the character set by 
rendering
rows of characters along with the hexadecimal (ASCII) value that produces 
it.

Each page displays 64 characters of the 256 available. Hitting any key 
several
time pages through the four displays.
