Re: PPISD page on wiki

Hello Bill,

Probably the only requirement is that the socket is for SD-card only. The board has large 'groundplane' areas to the sides to cater for various length cards and two holes underneath for locating pins (or bumps) on the socket.  The circuit uses the 9 signal and power lines but does not use the extra pins
to tell the host that a card has been inserted.  I used a simpler non push-push socket for my N8 board (Jaycar catalogue number PS-0024) - it would also be suitable for the PPISD board.  I mentioned the Altronics socket on the wiki as it is what I had at the time.

If you find a suitable socket, please add it to the wiki.

Regards

David

The page mentions: "For Australian builders the SD-CARD socket shown in the photo is an Altronics Cat. No. P5722."

Is there a maker and part nr. for that socket, or a source in USA?
