Re: Xi 8088 - The improved version of my XT board
Hi, Sergey -
Yes, put me down for an Xi and a backplane! Sounds like an interesting project. Those long winter nights are just around the corner.

I am working on improving my original XT board (http://www.malinov.com/

close to ordering PCBs.
I'd like to know who will be interested in this PCB (so I can estimate
how many PCBs to order). The PCB price will be about $30.
Here is the specifications for this board:
- An IBM XT compatible processor board, with several enhancements: it
has PS/2 keyboard and mouse interfaces, a second interrupt controller,
real time clock, and a turbo mode support (I was able to get it up to
13.33MHz using V20HL CPU).
- This board has an ISA card format (11.4" x 4.3" size), and intended
to be used with a passive ISA backplane.
- I wrote a BIOS for this board. Additionally to the standard XT BIOS
functionality, it supports enhanced (AT or PS/2) keyboard, PS/2 mouse,
and newer floppy disk controllers with diskette formats up to 2.88 MB.
- This version fixes all known Version 1.0 bugs and has several
improvements.
The preliminary schematics and PCB layout are posted here:
