Hi All,

I've been surprised by the steep learning curve with all this, but I'm enjoying it. I really appreciate the help I've had so for on the list.

As I've already ordered the 74LS parts, I'm happy to run with them for starters. I think this will allow me to get a working system, and then I can experiment with different parts.

Nik, I've sent and email to Futurlec to add the 8mhz osc. to the order. They are the dip 8 full can style, so that might present some interesting engineering!

Sergey, thanks for the info. It really helps to know the background of stuff to build on the knowledge. I'll be sending you a paypal today for the parts we discussed.
