The assignment of drive letters to physical hardware happens
in the pre-build configuration with the DM_* variable.
Your first chance to see what your drive configuration looks like
occurs when the ROM loader prompts for the startup drive.
It is a good idea to notice which drive letter was.
Then after the system is loaded, you can review the drive assignments
by issuing the "MAP" command. The first section of it's output is the drive
mapping.
It will look something like this...
