- Thread-topic: [N8VEM: 7875] Re: 6502 Host Processor board
I just posted DOS65-10162010.ZIP on the WIKI in the 6502 host processor
folder. It is a working version of Richard Leary's DOS/65 operating
system ported for the upcoming 6502 host processor board. The OS is
working well in this version, but there is still some work to do with
the utility programs, and I would like to convert the ehBasic
interpreter to run under the OS. The DOS/65 instruction PDFs are
included in the archive, but, I still need to put together a "How-To"
document to get everything running on the N8VEM.
If anyone has built the 6502 adapter for the 6809 host IO board, let me
know and I can walk you through getting DOS/65 booted up. It is
actually quite easy due to the fact that DOS/65 uses a CP/M compatible
file system.
It is my hope that by the time we get the PCBs done for the new
6809/6502/6802 Host Processor board, that we have a complete OS done for
each mode. 6809=CUBIX, 6502=DOS/65, and 6802=FLEX(I think. . .).
Hopefully shortly after the PCBs are done I should have stand alone
versions of the software done for use with the current 6809 IO board and
backplane.

Hi Dan! Thanks! Great pictures and it's a wonderful display!
I made a folder on the N8VEM wiki for VCF Midwest 2010 pictures.

I hope this helps! Thanks and have a nice day!
