This looks interesting, though I wasn't able to find much more about it.

Passive ISA backplanes are pretty easy to come by, as are interesting ISA expansion cards...

Another '030 to ISA interface on this very old design from Ingo Cyliax: http://archive.retro.co.za/mirrors/68000/ftp.cs.indiana.edu/ pub/goo/mc68030/Schem/

I'd read about this (published in Circuit Cellar in '94 or so) but it took a while to stumble over it.

Another (simpler?Wink option for ISA connectivity; Till (of MiST fame) built this ISA adapter for the Atari MegaST:

Timing would need tweaking for a faster system clock, but the GAL looks deceptively simple...
