I'm hoping this constitutes a known problem someone can help with.

I just built and fired up a VGA3 board driven by SBC-188
on a 4 board ECB.
Everything works great, except that when I try to install
To a fresh drive (CF on IDE adapter), the installation prompts appear as gobbledigook.
The bottom line of the screen appears correct though, while it's eg. showing the current MSDOS file being read/written.

This happens with both the MSDIS 5.00 and 6.22 setup floppies. These floppies work fine when I'm installing using ANSI terminal BIOS instead of VGA3.

Any help/pointers would be much appreciated.
I'm attaching an example screenshot.

TIA

As an update (for the lurkers Smile Wink, I just put the ANSI terminal BIOS
back in, installed 6.22 with that (obviously the "scrolling" text in top install screen is encoded in a way the ANSI trans can work out but not the VGA3 BIOS), and then went back to VGA3 BIOS.
Works fine now, still wonder what the story is...
