Arrow keys to SBC-188 [message #9967]

I noticed that MS-DOS 5.00 defaults to "shell on start-up", which I can't change because I can't send the proper escape sequence to the SBC-188.
I think this is why 5.00 hangs when I install it.
In contrast 6.22 defaults to a startup where it doesn't even clear the terminal screen, which seems to be the reason
6.22 runs fine for me.
I've tried with Putty, Realterm and Teraterm.
