Hi
Does anyone know where to find an archive copy of the Obsonet MSX Ethernet card?

http://obsonet.blogspot.com/2011/10/obsonet-v10.html

It was found here but when I click on the link for the hardware tech data it has since disappeared

http://www.sisembe.com/articulos/obsonetv1_files/obsonet_v1. tar.gz

I am thinking if we could replicate an RTL8019AS based Ethernet design with the network ROM it would reduce the new code needed

Most of the design is done already only the interface the network ROM remains

Thanks, Andrew Lynch

Our own jordi.solis seems to have some Obsonet stuff here: https://github.com/msx-solis/Obsonet , including 'obsonet_v1(new).tar.gz' in the 'ficheros' subdirectory.

Hi Rob
Oh Wow! Ask and you shall receive! In KiCAD format no less! I was hoping for just fax quality scan and this is awesome!

THANK YOU! Andrew Lynch

PS, Jolis, you are great! Thank you so much!

Hi
OK, I looked over the Jolis github and it is good. It contains the KiCAD hardware tech data plus binaries for various software components. I think the source code can be found here:

https://github.com/Konamiman/MSX

So that helps for an MSX to CP/M port if that's a possibility

It's a good news story! Thanks, Andrew Lynch

Thanks!
I had a previous design in an old version eagle format.
So that, the schematic may needs to be patched but let me check and improve the pcb.

Nice to ear that helped someone ;)

Hi
I've used the Obsonet info for an Ethernet board on nhyodyne but it never made it to production. Also transferred design over to duodyne for an Ethernet board. Still waiting to get to that particular board but it should be coming up soon.

Thanks, Andrew Lynch
