Hi,

I have been watching the forum for a while now, and finally have access (Thank you Andrew)

I have a number of boards from this world that I particularly enjoy, namely a N8, and Zeta and most recently a SBC188.

My N8 is in the most complete state, including in a nice enclosure with a LCD display on the front.

A while ago, I was inspired by another system where they used an acrylic enclosure and they implemented a 4 line x (possibly) 80 character LCD in their enclosure, and it appeared as though that had console I/O directed to it. I was curious as to how that had been done, and whether that was possible to add to the N8, through the RomWBW firmware.

Thanks for anybodies ideas.

Doug

I don't have any input on interfacing the LCD screen, but RomWBW is pretty adaptable to new console I/O devices. Probably needs a small driver, but I would expect it to be easy to code.
