Hello,

The topic says it all(most).
I have a very nice looking Mostek chip.
White with grey ceramic and gold pins.
And a big square lit of purple ceramic.
But looking nice is not good enough for me.
I want to know what it is. And if possible, use it.

So the question: Does anybody have a data sheet for this circuit?
And No, Google came up empty for me when looking for the part number.

Like the one here: http://www.calcuseum.com/SCRAPBOOK/BITMAP/BONUS/17142/_SMD69 214.PDF ?
It's a very pretty chip indeed. 12-digit 4-function calculator chip, if the ad on page 16 of this PDF is to be believed: https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/stamp/stamp.jsp?arnumber=5219109

Using it? No idea.

They all plug into the socket on the motherboard to keep the chip from drifting away. - c.s.a2 FAQ of yore

Thanks, it helps a bit.
At least I know what it is.
And I'm pretty sure I should have a datasheet somewhere.
I must have bought this chip a long time ago at a Tandy or Radio-Shach store. (Archer ? Wink
