ECB-to-S100 bridge board [message #7755]

All --

Out of curiosity, has anyone built or know of an ECB-to-S100 bridge board? I really like the VGA3 I have and I thought it would be a good project for adding it to my S100 8086 system to get off of a straight terminal. I know there are ISA-to-S100 bridge boards (the S100Computers group, of which I also belong), but I've never seen and ECB one.

Any thoughts on the ability to do that? I might pull the docs on the ISA-S100 board to see what glue might be needed.

in the old retrobrew files is there a project to get a mixed motherboard, but no one ended it.
I wonder how full signaling for multiprocesor on S-100 will fit with ECB cpu boards but maybe the rest of signals could be quite similar.
additionally, S100 has two 8-bit data bus joined to be a bi-directional 16-bit one, so, if your vga card is 16-bit, you will get this easier.
My suggestion is you can compare the ecb Propio board's schematic with the s100 propeller console one, I think they would be the most similar port.

I can't direct,y reply to your question but as I have an interest in isa to ecb (ecb backplane and cpu but with a isa card added) I thought I'd drop in. Do you have a link to the isa-s100 design please?

Is there any isa-ecb adapters beyond the unfinished mixed motherboard project?
