Hey all - I've received a request to post information about some upcoming events on the forum. In order to avoid creating a ton of posts, I've opted for a single sticky. I'll maintain this top post, and anyone can PM or e-mail me if there is an event you'd like added. Let's use the rest of the topic for discussion of the various events, and we'll see how it goes from there.

There are two big ones coming up this year that I'm tracking so far:

Vintage Computer Festival East - May 3-5, 2019 - InfoAge Science Center, 2201 Marconi Rd., Wall, NJ - for more information see this page

Vintage Computer Festival West - August 3-4, 2019 - Computer History Museum, 1401 N. Shoreline Blvd., Mountain View, CA - for more information see [ http://vcfed.org/wp/festivals/vintage-computer-festival-west /]this page[/url]

I've been to VCF West twice in 2016 and 2017, it was a great time. I especially enjoyed getting a hands-on demo with a Xerox Alto in 2017. I'm hoping to make it again this year. Maybe one of these years, I'll decide to have a table instead of just wandering around.

Vintage Computer Festival Pacific Northwest - March 21-22, 2020 - Living Computers: Museum+Labs, 2245 First Avenue South, Seattle, WA. For more information see this page

I've been presenting my projects at VCF PNW past two years - Xi 8088 and Micro 8088 at VCF PNW 2018, and Zeta SBC / Easy Z80 / MiniMax 8085 at VCF PWN 2019.
And I am planning to show Omega Home Computer and a couple more of similarly themed (80's style keyboard-computer) home brew computers this year.

See you there!

VCF Mid-West shows that it's still scheduled for September 20. http://vcfmw.org/ Chicago Area.
Though who knows if that will happen.

I went to this show from 2007-2013. I saw N8VM displays there and talked to the builders. And, here I am, learning from all of you years later.

The regulars also staff CipherCon and Midwest Gaming Classic in Milwaukee. That was cancelled but always happens in April. (I have displayed TI-99/4A and more TI products at MGC since 2006.Wink
