Look for a Small Card Cage for your ECB project?

OMNI Systems in Sparta, NJ has been parting out GESPAC equipment
that used Euro Card System (3U) cards.
The card cages should be easy to adopt for ECB usage.
eBay auctions: 332057479387 and 332672553390

Nice find, thanks for sharing.

Also there are some SIEMENS 505-6508 racks on ebay i.e. 262857839330

I purchase one recently and have John Coffmans 12-slot SIEMENS 505-6508 backplane boards listed in the inventory if anyone is thinking of heading down that route.

Regards Phil

Just a reminder to those looking at the (IMHO, very nice) smaller EuroCard rack: Just as the Siemens 505-6508 rack comes with a backplane that must be replaced with a RetroBrew-compatible backplane, I am guessing that the backplane in the more compact rack will need an update to a RetroBrew backplane in the compact form factor.

Thanks, I didn't even know these existed.

I was very luck to get a Y2K compliant chassis - can never be too careful for all those mission critical applications. ;)

Tom Yost at Axus Technologies provided some additional information.
==
Gespac manufactured only the Gesbus backplane.
The card cages were sourced from various OEMs, most likely Schroff or Elma.

IF you require parts for the Card Cage, then you will find parts from those mfg.

Thomas Yost

Gespac offered 68030 / 68040 processor cards, LAN card and OS/9 operating system.
Axus continues to support some of these products.
