Hi Guys,
I need someone to dust off their SBC VER 2 build and try to help me figure out why my build will not come up.
The Bi-color led does not light and TeraTerm displays nothing. Teraterm is set to 9600 8n1.
The SST39SF040 flash chip has the UNA 2.1 Binary file una-245s.bin file burned into it.
The only chips not installed on the board are the 74LS243 U10, '244s U17 & '245s U8, U9 & UU11.
Jumper K13 is not installed and although the ECB connector is installed, it is not soldered.
Initially, all jumpers were installed in the default positions with the flash chip jumper appropriately jumpered since I used the flash chip instead of the 27C080 1MB eprom. I would have preferred to use the 27C080 since it is 1MB as opposed to the 512KB flash chip, but I can't find my 27C080s anywhere currently. I know I have some 27C080s somewhere.
All the photos for the SBC V2 are for a version without the K13 jumper next to the ECB connector. I have the SBC VER 2 as it is labeled on my board which has the K13 jumper next to the ECB Connector.
Since all the jumpers are soldered, I do not know where pin one is so I do not know if I properly jumpered everything. I assumed all pin 1s on the jumpers are toward the Power, Serial port, Parallel port side of the board.
Nothing is connected to the Parallel port connector yet.
Would someone post some photos of the SBC VER 2 board that I have please? I can't get anything out of this board. Thanks in advance for your help. Take care my friends.

UNA 2.1 is the latest release. Good there. "s" is the "small" 512K ROM image.
Most disturbing: LED D1 not lit. U17 (244), U7 (14), & U5 (125) must all be installed. Plus, with U17 missing, the board may be inoperable. U17 drives /WAIT and /BUSRQ, which are direct Z80 inputs. I don't know what happens if they are left floating. They need to be tied HIGH. U17 insures this.
Okay to omit U8,U9,U11. Probably okay to omit U10. With no external peripherals, & no ECB bus, K13 may be left open for the time being.
RE: jumpers pin 1 is ALWAYS the square pin. To be sure, turn the board over and check from the bottom. I think your assumptions above are incorrect. I see a lot of pin1's toward the Z80.
Note I don't use the DS1210, so it is necessary to short pins 1-8 and 5-6 in the socket.
