I'm successful getting a barebone Z80 computer up and running. It consists of Z80, RAM, and a 22V10 for bootstrap ROM, address decode, and serial port. The bit-bang serial bootstrap code is 35 bytes and resides inside the logic array of 22V10. BB80 communicates to outside world via a bit-bang serial transmit and receive. The Z80 is clocked at 25.175MHz. A homepage for BB80 is here.

The design concept for BB80 and Muntz65 are sufficiently demonstrated to go for a combined pc board for both processors.
