My floppy BIOS already should support it. The only part that might require updating is the support for Flash ROM ICs in addition to EEPROMs. I already have similar code implemented in 8088 BIOS, so it shouldn't be that difficult.
To the best of my knowledge, my BIOS does work with newer ISA based computers, at least with 286/386 ones. Someone reported an issue with much newer system. I haven't reproduced or debugged that one yet.
